Panajachel erhebt sich langsam aber sehr positiv von der
Stan-Katastrophe auf. Seit letzter Woche kommen immer mehr Touristen,
jeden Morgen kommen wieder neue Busse von verschiedenen
Touristenagenturen an und die Stimmung
ist wieder mit glücklichen Gesichtern und neuen Hoffnungen zu erleben.

Unser Importland Indonesien wurde durch den Anschlag auf Bali am 1. Oktober 2005 zum wiederholten Male schwer getroffen. Hier eine Nachricht aus Bali:

Thank you for your support and show solidarity to Balinese people that need help from you all. Please spread the messages to your friends or relatives that do not let the terrorists win and we fight together against this evil act. Bali is still Paradise and no act of terrorism can change that. We have lived through very similar and worse events before and have seen that it is by no means the end of the world. We are sure that all civilized people of the world hope these criminals will be caught and brought to justice very soon and life will get back to normal.
